Anyone who knows me has heard of me talk about my grandfather's cabin on the border of Arkansas and Louisiana. You've probably also heard me talk about it as if it were heaven on Earth -- which, it, by the way, is!
In fact, right after he died, Brytni and I went out there. On the way home. I cried so hard. I got home and I wrote the song on my Among A Million album "A Purple Sunset" - now that you know, you can totally tell.
So, I've got some more recent pictures of the cabin that my Grand Dad and Gram own (actually, he passed it on to my aunt, mom, and uncle), but these are by far my favorite.
So, around 1995 or 1996 (I was 15 or 16), my bestfriend Steven and I went for a weekend with my grandparent's to the cabin. It was super great, and here are the pictures (I'm the one with the long hair).

PS: Thank you Amanda for sharping these pics up. I just scanned them today, and they were a bit icky.

Me with the fish we caught on my Grand Dad's dock!
Steven (right) and I fishing on my Grand Dad's dock. He actually build that thing by freakin' HAND! He was so hardcore.
Steven in the master bedroom of the Cabin. He actually build the Cabin by hand too! In the 60s, he bought a trailer (the kind you hook to a truck) and build on to it to make an entire cabin! It's not big, but not exactly small either. And, it absolutely has that hand-made feel to it. Best place on earth. No doubt.
Steven in the John Boat off Tony (the neighbor's) dock.
View of the Cabin from about halfway from the dock. All of those are pine trees, and you can smell them so much. Hammock to the right. He added 3 more of them later on :)

Grand Parent's and Steven :)

Of of my Grand Dad's dock from halfway down from the Cabin! Boat house on the left, dock on the right :)

Steven about 15 feet off into the water from the dock.

My Gram!

Hahah. My Grand Dad on the Cabin porch fixing the fishing pool I broke =D

View of the dock from the water. The water was usually 6-10 feet at the end of the dock, but when Steven and I went, it was amazingly low. I'm sure that's why I got down there to take the picture.

My Gram and Steven :)
Grand Daddy when he went fishing with us :) That's his dock on the right, and the Cabin is beyond the pine trees :)
